trim, personal day two

We have two of them and can take them at any time, for any reason. I took mine back-to-back, a weekend in the middle of the week.

Tonight, Ryan and I took a walk with the dogs as the sun came down. The bats are returning; I remember how surprised I was the first time one flitted across the night sky, catching the corner of my eye. Now they are a natural part of outdoors in the gloaming.

I worked a bit on the front yard; it was difficult to trim the bushes in front when they were blooming, but the tulips were completely overshadowed. I am one to let things run wild and face the regretful consequences later.

Things are renewing around here. Fresh, shorter, boxed up, donated.
