so gorgeous molly! we're thinking of going camping there next weekend (i'm now realizing why it sounded familiar when i looked at the park map!), any suggestions?
Julia: The Hiking Club trail was a little disappointing. Pretty easy but not very dramatic. There is one trail that is close to the campground that goes pretty much down, then up. :) By the In Yan Teopa Rock. I definitely prefer those "lovely, dark, and deep" (and miles to go before we sleep) wooded areas--the canopies, the moss, the ferns, the rich greens and browns--to the prairie. The RW area definitely has both! Enjoy yourself!

Things I love: poetry and precise words, kitchen gardens, wildflowers, photography, the natural world, walking in the woods, geography and culture and a sense of place, thunderstorms, yoga, letterpress artwork, knit objects, earth tones, chai tea, little birds, the ocean, wool, thick books to get lost in, ecotones and diagrams, sheep and llamas and goats, handwritten letters, the body (mine and yours).
You are welcome to link to photos and posts, but please do not use content or photos from this blog or my photostream without receiving permission from me first! I'm likely to be thrilled at your using words &/or images, but I just would like to feel involved! Thanks! :)
